Quinto Idus Mártii.  Luna. The Eleventh Day of March. The Night of the Moon.

Sardis sancti Euthymii Epíscopi, qui, ob cultum sanctárum Imáginum, a Michaéle, Imperatóre Iconoclásta, in exsílium missus est; ac demum, Theóphilo imperánte, búbulis nervis, inhumániter cæsus, martyrium consummávit. At Sardis, St. Euthymius, bishop, who was sent into exile by the Iconoclast emperor Michael for the veneration of sacred images.
