The second in a new series of Conferences about “Tradition”. In this episode, Metropolitan Jerome explains the different ways in which holy Tradition is “living” in the summation and continuance of the “living stones” that have led to and make up the Church today i.e. the people. God reveals Himself continually in various ways to those who receive holy Tradition through prayer, worship, study, collective and personal experience. Noting the foundation of the Church in the Tradition of the Apostles preserved and continued, Metropolitan Jerome explains how authentic Tradition is differentiated from novelty and orthodoxy from heterodoxy. Finally, His Grace gives a very brief historical outline of the differences between East and West and an introduction as to where sacred and living Tradition may be found in the West today.
