Paschal Greeting from the Primus

Dominus resurrexit vere, alleluia!

Christ is risen! Truly, He is risen! Alleluia!

To the beloved clergy and faithful of the Old Roman Apostolate throughout the world: grace and peace be with you in the name of our Risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

With hearts overflowing with Easter joy, I greet you on this glorious Feast of Feasts, when the Church throughout the world rejoices in the triumph of life over death, of light over darkness, and of grace over sin. The tomb is empty, the stone is rolled away, and the cry echoes through time and eternity: Resurrexit, sicut dixit—He is risen, as He said.

The Resurrection of Christ is not only the central mystery of our faith but the very source of our hope. In these days of confusion and trial—when the world gropes in darkness and many hearts grow cold—it is the light of the Risen Christ that illumines our path, strengthens our resolve, and rekindles our mission. As Old Romans, we are called to be witnesses to this truth: that Christ is alive, that His Gospel remains unchanged, and that His Church, though battered, shall never be overcome.

Let this Easter be for each of us a renewal of our baptismal promises, a deepening of our love for Christ crucified and risen, and a recommitment to the sacred task entrusted to us: to guard the deposit of faith, to live the life of grace, and to build up the household of God in fidelity and charity.

To my brother bishops and clergy: continue to be faithful stewards of the Mysteries of God and spiritual fathers to the flock entrusted to your care. To the religious and consecrated: persevere joyfully in your vows, reflecting the beauty of holiness in the world. To all the lay faithful: live as children of the Resurrection, radiant with the peace and purpose that come from Christ alone.

As we sing with triumph the Paschaltide Alleluia, let us go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, proclaiming the Lord’s victory and making visible the life of the world to come.

Be assured of my paternal blessing and fervent prayers during this sacred Octave and throughout the joyful season ahead.

Christus vincit! Christus regnat! Christus imperat!

In the joy of the Risen Lord,
I remain
